As a child, Tim Ewins loved searching beaches and rockpools for crabs and other magical creatures. 

His first novel, We Are Animals, was published in 2021, followed by Tiny Pieces of Enid in 2023. In 2025 he released the non-fiction title Pension Gangster. 

Clipper and Clawzo is his first picture book. When not writing, Tim enjoys learning about football, reading (of course), and playing on the beach with his wife and son.
